Reflecting on 2023

Where has the year gone? It feels as though I began this page just yesterday, yet a full year has elapsed. Creating a social media presence by the way of Instagram, Pinterest, and a Blog has been challenging, yet one of the rewarding experiences to date.

If you are new here, let me get you up to speed. I embarked on this path because I yearned to show other women how adopting a capsule wardrobe allowed me to regain confidence in myself and my personal style. When I was newly postpartum, I was struggling in my new body. Nothing fit, and I hated everything hanging in my wardrobe. I was tired of walking into my closet, looking around at the hangers full of clothes, yet still feeling like I had nothing to wear.

I decided to change. I paired down my wardrobe, chose a neutral color pallette, and opted for classic styles. Over 2.5 years later, I no longer fret getting ready. I easily select an outfit that fits my body and my style. I stopped worrying what people might think if I repeat outfits again and again. Overtime, I found confidence in the personal style I created for myself.
