One Item, Four Ways

As a working mom and wife, mornings are chaotic. On a typical day, I begin with scooping up my toddler, plopping her into my bed, and trying to shower, get ready, and leave before 9AM. Prior to baby, I could both wake up and roll out of the house before 7AM. Mind you, arising later than I do currently. Now, I can do a full face and curl my hair with a toddler on my hip. Such is life, mamas.

Because of my early morning struggle, it is important that picking an outfit is quick and painless. Long gone are the days of trying on 6 different shirts before leaving the house. I no longer have the time or energy to spend thinking about the perfect OOTD look.

I rely on picking pieces for my wardrobe that I constantly come back to. And for those who worry that variety is the spice of life? I have curated 28 looks from 4 tops, 4 pants, 4 dresses, 4 jackets/cardigans, 4 pairs of shoes, 4 different earings, and two purses to show you that choosing the same items does not have to look the same.
